AlexJaeger
studied automotive design at the College for Creative Studiesbut then
turned to entertainment design studies at the Art Institute
ofPittsburgh. Soon after graduation he was working in both the model
shopand art department at Industrial Light and Magic. There he has
servedas a visual effects art director for the past 15 years on projects
suchas Star Trek: First Contact, Wild Wild West, Starship Troopers,
DeepImpact, Galaxy Quest, Pearl Harbor, Star Wars: Return of the
JediSpecial Edition, Star Wars: Episode 2, Star Wars: Episode
3,Transformers, Mission Impossible 3, Transformers 2: Revenge of
theFallen and the most recent J.J. Abram\'s Star Trek. He\'s responsible
forsuch designs as the Akira Class starship, Bumblebee\'s and
Starscream\'shead designs, the Clone Trooper variations and the future
policeofficer\'s mask from Star Trek among many others.
